Legal Fees Only. You Are Responsible for Court Costs and Fines. Representation is Limited to District Court Pleas Only.
All fee quotes require you hire our office PRIOR to your 1st
court date. This fee increases by $100 if hired after the 1st
court date.
You are entitled to one (1) continuance for this
price.

I recommend you use my website to handle your ticket.

The fee is $300 if hired prior to the 1st court date. It is $500 if hired after the 1st court date.
The fee includes (1) continuance and the processing of a final Limited Driving Privilege (LDP) or a Work Release Application. Processing your case on your 2nd court appearance - generally three (3) months after your arrest - saves you time, money and offers you more flexibility for all aspects of your plea - from the time you come to court to which judge will hear your case.
Additionally, if your breath test was .15 or greater, you need to move quickly to process your case because you will not be eligible for a LDP for 45 days from the date of your plea. You may want to move your plea date up as soon as possible so the 45 days can run concurrently with your 30 day civil revocation. See this link for additional information.
This is my legal fee to prepare a Limited Driving Privilege
("LDP") if you process the LDP yourself.
There is an additional charge of $40 if I process your
LDP.

This is my legal fee to represent you in a Buncombe County District Court Misdemeanor plea.

If you elect to pursue Deferred Prosecution, there is an additional fee of $100

(District Court)
This is my legal fee to represent you in a District Court
Felony plea.
Price considerations include whether there are other charges and whether a lab
analysis has been ordered.

I charge on a case-by-case basis for a trial in either District or Superior Court.
My minimum District Court Trial charge is $1000. My minimum Superior Court Trial charge is $2500.
I will only recommend a trial if I think your facts or charges warrant one. Sometimes you are not guilty; sometimes you are over charged. I will put my old prosecutor hat on and go through your facts and the charge elements and show you where you will win and where you will lose. But I do not bluff; I go to trial only if I think I can win.
