This is my legal fee for hourly work. Whenever possible, I try to set a flat rate for my work. But often a flat rate is not possible and I must contract for an hourly billing for my work. In these cases I require a retainer of $2500 or an available credit of $2500 for credit card billing. I don't like hourly billing because it takes additional time to keep track of, and can give the impression I benefit from a continuing dispute. It also creates distrust because much of what I do you do not see. So to earn and maintain your trust I try to report charges to you as quickly as possible so you are not surprised by the cost of your litigation. And I try to work fast and work smart.
